Welcome— I am glad you’re here
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in New York (#017975) offering remote sessions to clients all across New York State. I work with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of different reasons and with diverse backgrounds. In our work, I seek to create a therapy space that is compassionate, curious, collaborative, and understanding. My hope is that through this space you can better understand yourself and your challenges, connecting the dots towards a more fulfilling future.
My approach to therapy is insight oriented and relational, drawn from a psychodynamic lens. This means that in our work together we will look at how our therapeutic relationship models experiences you have outside of the therapy space and use our relationship to work through your symptoms and patterns together in real time. We will look at your past, your present, and your goals for the future holistically, to understand how all these parts of you integrate and contribute to who you are.
I completed a Master in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. After my graduate education, I sought out further training at Fordham University where I completed a year long fellowship in psychodynamic therapy. Alongside my practice, I continue to work part time with the students in the counseling center at Fordham. I find this work keeps me connected to a vibrant educational community where I work with other thoughtful clinicians, and am grounded in current clinical work and research.
I have experience and training in supervising masters and doctoral level clinicians at both Fordham University and in private practice settings. I continue to offer supervision to my peers, colleagues, and students across a variety of professional spaces.
